Aside from the iPhone 4S, they (Apple) also announced that the iCloud will go live and will be available to all iDevices running iOS 5 on Oct 12 2011. iCloud have already been announced and demoed by Steve Jobs last June 2011 at WWDC. So there way nothing new when they announced it earlier.

In a media event, Microsoft just announced that availability of the cloud version of MS Office Productivity Suite that MS Office 365. The MS Office 365 will be available globally in 40 different markets. The MS Office 365 will allow users to use a cloud version of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, MS Exchange, SharePoint and Lync. Microsoft did not specify if they will offer MS Office 365 for the general public, but I guess it's just a matter for time for Microsoft for them to consider offering Office 365 to the general public.
