Checkout this new phone that Motorola announced; the Motorola WILDER it's a small and slow phone that is splash and dust proof. Motorola was secretive as to what OS and process this phone is using, which was a downer. The Moto Wilder is a GSM dual-band phone that have an interesting specs like 2.8-inch QVGA resistive touch screen with a secondary 0.7" OLED (96 x 16 1-liner) screen, 2-megapixel camera that can capture video at 15fps, a number of built-in apps that we usually don't see on high-end smartphones like Tetris, Game of Life, Need For Speed, Soundhound.

At IFA 2011 that is currently being held in Germany, Samsung recently unveil a rather peculiar device, the Samsung Galaxy Note. I said "peculiar" because it has a 5.3” (WXGA) HD Super AMOLED screen that has a screen resolution of 1280 x 800 at 285 ppi, which is too small to be a tablet and too large for a smartphone. But spec wise Galaxy Note is leaning towards being a smartphone than a small tablet, unlike the original Galaxy tablet which is a tablet but was marketed as a oversize smartphone.
